William Morris & Co Strawberry Thief Rug Slate. Originally a fabric designed by Morris and registered in 1883, Strawberry Thief was the first indigo discharge printed on cotton at Merton Abbey. Although very expensive to produce, it became one of the most popular designs for fabric and is now available as a beautiful hand-tufted rug. The rugs are designed to complement Morris & Co Fabrics & Wallpaper, but are not always an exact colour match. Usual delivery 10-14 working days.
