Fringed Tulip Toile, in a colour Smalt, Sanderson X Giles Deacon Wallpaper collection. Referencing an archive document, Fringed Tulip Toile is reimagined as a distressed batik-style print. Weathered double-headed parrot tulips and roses appear aged yet grandiose. Mimicking the extract printing technique, this textured design reveals the pattern in a new light, almost bleached, for a unique effect.
