Ordering

Please note that all items are subject to availability. Many of our products are ordered in from the Manufacturer and so we are unable to keep the stock position on the website. Once your order has been placed we will contact you either on the same or the following working day to confirm the availability, but if you are concerned that an item may not be available then please phone us proir to placing your order and we will be happy to check stock for you.

We would recommend you order a sample prior to placing your order, to ensure the fabric or wallpaper is correct.

If an exact colour match is required please ask us to order a ‘Stock Cutting’ as there can be colour variations between batches of fabrics.

If you require a particular batch of wallpaper, please specify the batch number required in the 'Additional Information' section when placing your order. We would recommend that you phone prior to ordering to check that the batch you require is still available. 

The wallpaper calculator on the website is there as a guide only to provide an estimate for the number of rolls you will need. You must check the quantity with your decorator or whoever is papering the wall prior to ordering, and we cannot accept any liability for you ordering too many or too few rolls based on the calculation given on the website. 

It is your responsibility to ensure the fabric is suitable for your needs.  No liability can be accepted for goods which deteriorate due to atmospheric conditions, make up, additional treatments, shrinkage cleaning processes or installation

Our minimum order is 1mtr of fabric.  Above this you can order fabric in 0.1m Eg: 4.2mtr
Minimum Order for wallpaper is 1 Roll

Fabrics to be used for Upholstery use will need to be FR treated, or used with a barrier cloth to bring them up to the Furniture and Furnishings ire Safety regulations. Please call us for more info.

Once an order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation by email.  We will contact you ASAP should there be a problem in processing your order and you will always have the opportunity to cancel your order.

Tailor Made Products are exempt from the Distance Selling Regulations and can only be returned if faulty or not made to the specification given.

In the event that a Made to Measure product is faulty, we will (at our discretion) either remedy the error or refund the order.

Curtains may shrink or relax when hung due to atmospheric conditions. We are unable to accept responsibility for changes such as these once the curtains are hung, but we guarantee that there will be adequate fabric in the hems of the curtains to allow for alterations. The cost of any alterations is the customer’s responsibility.

Cancellation

Cancellation of any order MUST be made in writing either by Fax, Email or Post (we recommend you obtain a proof of posting).

For the return of non-faulty goods you must contact us within 7 working days of receipt.  Items must be well packaged and returned in a saleable condition. 

A refund of the original cost charged will be given however, the cost of returning the parcel / goods is payable by the customer.  We can arrange a collection if required, however your refund upon receipt of the returned goods, will have a collection charge of £20  deducted to return the product.  A collection charge of £25.00 will be applied to ALL RUGS. 

Should you realise you have ordered incorrectly, please contact us immediately. 

Harlequin/Sanderson offer a reservation service so please contact us to reserve additional rolls of wallpaper rather than ordering more than you need.

Product info & Pricing

We aim to provide up to date and accurate information about our products and prices however, on occasion errors can occur either due to typographical errors, or incorrect information being receiving from our suppliers.  We cannot be held responsible for these or any other errors on our website.

All Weights & dimensions quoted are approximate

Whilst every effort is made to ensure that our photographs of products are as close to the original as possible, there may be variations between the colours on screen due to circumstances beyond our control eg: monitor resolution or contrast, software configuration & settings.

VAT: We are a UK retailer and purchases through our site are subject to Vat at UK rates currently 20%.  All prices include this.

Our rights & Liability

We are unable to accept liability for:

Late Delivery, we would recommend you ensure you have received & thoroughly checked your wallpaper / goods prior to booking any further services Eg: Decorator / Curtain Maker.  We are unable to accept any liability for delays, cancellation charges.

All sizes stated (including curtains) are approximate within a tolerance of 1.5”
Up to 5% shrinkage can occur due to variations in atmospheric conditions or dry cleaning
Fabrics & silks are a natural product, and as such contain slubs and weave irregularities.  These should not be viewed as defects / faults as this is an inherent characteristic of cloth.

Natural silk is not colour fast and should be protected from the light with a good quality lining & Interlining, and perhaps with the additional use of blinds.  We recommend that it is not used in circumstances where it is exposed to direct or reflective sun or artificial light and in particular in rooms with a south facing aspect. Weaving variations, slubs, vertical lines & knots will occur as they are a characteristic of silk and add to the sophisticated lustre and texture and should not be considered as faults.

Loss or perceived loss due to shrinkage, from cleaning, incorrect usage, fabric treatments or deterioration.

Faults found in fabric once the fabric has been Cut, Made up or Treated (not by ourselves) in any way.  It is your responsibility to thoroughly check the fabric prior to cutting for faults, length, pattern repeat, colour & design even if the fabric is sent to your curtain maker.

Wallpapers should be checked thoroughly through each roll prior to cutting & hanging. We are unable to accept liability once the wallpaper has been cut / hung.

We will always provide wallpapers from the same batch as colour variations can occur. Please ensure you order sufficient for your needs as we may not be able to provide the same batch in the future.
