Our Roman Blinds are made up using a roman Blind Tape which securely holds the fibreglass rod used to create each fold. This is machine stitched with a single line of stitching across the blind adding stability and ensuring a long lasting finish. The bottom is weighted with an aluminium bottom bar. When using a Blackout Lining this stitching can show tiny 'pin holes' of light.
IMPORTANT - Always use a metal tape to take your measurements rather than a fabric or plastic tape, which may stretch and result in inaccurate measurements.

To be sure of the best possible fit, take time to measure your window carefully.
Measure the width of your window recess from wall to wall. Take measurements at three different points just in case your window is not square and write down the smallest measurement. This measurement is called 'Inside Recess' (See fig. 1). A small deduction (1.5cm) for clearance will be taken off the width by us from your supplied measurements to ensure your blind can operate smoothly and fits within the recess.
Measure the height of your window recess from top to sill. Take measurements at three different points just in case your window is not square and write down the smallest measurement.
